Installation wise, since the lights are solar-powered, no difficult or expensive wiring is necessary for solar deck lights.
Installing recessed lights needs more precision work than usual solar yard lights that you just stick into the ground. As long as you plan it well and know how to use a drill and a screwdriver, it should not be a problem.
