It is very easy to set-up a solar powered shed light . All you have to do is to attach the small solar panel to the wall of the shed or the house and run the supplied long cable to the location you want your light to be installed.

Like with solar security lights, before fixing the solar panel, it is very important to choose a spot exposed to sunshine, to make sure that the solar panel will properly do its job. If placed in the shade, the lighting performances and autonomy will not be satisfactory. Don't forget to clean the panel from time to time

During the day, the solar panel collects the energy from the sun to charge the rechargeable batteries located inside the light fixture. Once well charged, the shed light can stay-on for long hours. Batteries can last for a couple of years before they need to be replaced.

Unlike solar yard lights that use LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes), solar powered shed lights use small fluorescent tubes producing a white and homogeneous illumination. The small neons provide a sufficient amount of lighting for most small places.

What makes a solar shed light a so attractive option, is mainly because it does not require any trenching to run electrical cables from the home to the shed, thus eliminating the risk and costs associated with electricity. You also don't want to ruin your beautiful lawn just to light the shed.
